Moulded wood

The potential of moulded wood have through the years been an inspiration for designers all over the world - and this has not been without results. A wide range of the best-known furniture are based on this exact technique. Through nearly 50 years Kvist Industries A/S has worked with moulded wood technology. It demands considerable know-how, both in production but to an equal degree for manufacturing tools, as all tools are manufactured by our own capacities.

Solid wood

Solid wood furniture has been produced by Kvist for more than 100 years. Kvist Industries A/S has played an important role in the production of well-known designed furniture - in classical, but also a new design style.

Table tops

Kvist Industries A/S took over the production of Fritz Hansen´s famous ellipse table in 2004 - designed by Piet Hein/Arne Jacobsen - and today produces a wide range for other customers in the furniture business, e.g. Fredericia Furniture, HAY and Hjellegjerde.

Kvist tabletop production takes place on modern CNCs and converts almost all materials: chipboard, MDF, plywood, melamine and compact laminate panels with surfaces in particular laminate, melamine, veneer and linoleum.

The plates are processed with edges in solid aluminum, wood, ABS or painted edge and they are offered up to 1590mm in width and 3000mm in lenght.

Cabinets

The properties of moulded wood have long been appreciated by the Hi Fi industry for their loudspeaker cabinets. We supply OEM or ODM.

Logistics

We, at KVIST INDUSTRIES are very aware that logistics and handling of goods often are as important as the product itself. Putting all the pieces together is an important part of achieving joint success with our customers. The market demands flexibility and speed - demands that we every day strive to live up to.

Development

Well begun is half way there! Skilled development-techniques make the process of introducing a new product shorter!

KVIST INDUSTRIES considers competence and professionalism in the development of new products as one of our most important assignments. This being both projects run by our selves, or projects in close cooperation with others.
